Tap or click the + button in the toolbar or at the bottom of the sidebar. You can scan a barcode with your camera, search by title or artist, or enter details manually.
Tap +, then choose Scan Barcode. Point your iPhone or iPad camera at the barcode on the back of the book, CD, DVD, or comic. Card Catalog will look up the metadata automatically. Barcode scanning requires an iPhone or iPad; it is not available on Mac.
Your library is stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Card Catalog uses iCloud to sync your library automatically. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID on all your devices and that iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings (iPhone/iPad) or System Settings (Mac).
Go to Settings → Data Management → Import / Export. Card Catalog can import from Booxter (.bxbooklib bundles), Delicious Library CSV exports, Goodreads CSV, LibraryThing CSV, and CLZ CSV.
Go to Settings → Data Management → Import / Export and choose Export. You can export to CSV (for use in spreadsheets) or HTML (for printing or sharing).
Click or tap the + button next to My Lists in the sidebar, then choose Smart List. Set your filter rules — you can filter by any of 27 fields including title, author, year, rating, condition, read status, page count, and more — and the list will update automatically as your library changes.
You can edit any field manually after a scan. Select the item, tap or click Edit, and correct the information. You can also use Refresh Metadata to try fetching the data again, or clear the cover image and search for a replacement.
Card Catalog is free to download. You can catalog up to 50 items for free with no time limit. When your collection grows beyond 50 items, a one-time $29.99 Lifetime Unlock gives you unlimited items on all your devices, forever. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.
Open Card Catalog, tap the Unlock Lifetime Access button in the paywall, then tap Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to make the original purchase, it will be restored at no charge.
Go to Settings → Amazon and enter your Amazon Associate tag. This adds your tag to the "Buy on Amazon" links so you earn a commission on qualifying purchases. If you do not have an Associate tag, the links will still work — they just won't earn a commission.
